Indonet’s Setu underground fiber route to support data center interconnection between Jakarta and the MM2100 Industrial Estate is now live.
This upgrade expands Indonet’s high-capacity fiber network and provides additional connectivity options for enterprises and data centers.
The Setu route complements the Kalimalang route, which has been operational since September 2025, bringing the total number of available underground fiber routes between Jakarta and the MM2100 Industrial Estate to two. The dual-route design enhances network redundancy, reliability, and flexibility for customers requiring mission-critical connectivity.
Strengthening Data Center Connectivity Between Jakarta and MM2100
The Jakarta–MM2100 corridor has become an increasingly strategic location for data center infrastructure, hyperscale deployments, and industrial digitalization.
By introducing the Setu underground fiber route, Indonet enables more resilient data center interconnection, ensuring stable connectivity between major digital infrastructure hubs in Jakarta and the industrial ecosystem in MM2100.
This expansion supports growing demand for high-capacity bandwidth, low-latency connectivity, and secure network infrastructure across enterprise and hyperscale environments.
Infrastructure Highlights
100% Underground Fiber Deployment
Indonet is the first providers to deploy 100% underground fiber infrastructure with this capacity along the Jakarta–MM2100 route. With total 100 KM in total two routes, improving network protection and long-term reliability.
576-Core High-Capacity Fiber
The network is built with 576-core fiber capacity, providing ample scalability to accommodate the continued growth of data traffic while maintaining high availability and optimal performance.
Strategic Route Connectivity
The fiber route connects two key digital infrastructure zones—Jakarta and the MM2100 Industrial Estate—while strengthening connectivity for surrounding industrial and enterprise environments.
Improved Network Resilience
With two available routes (Kalimalang and Setu), customers can benefit from enhanced redundancy and more reliable data center interconnection.
Supporting Indonesia’s Growing Digital Infrastructure
The demand for cloud computing, AI, and hyperscale data centers, reliable connectivity has become a critical foundation for digital infrastructure.
Through ongoing network expansion, Indonet remains committed to delivering high-performance connectivity solutions that support Indonesia’s rapidly evolving digital ecosystem.
Setu underground fiber route marks another step forward in strengthening the backbone of Indonesia’s infrastructure and enabling seamless interconnection between data centers and industrial hubs.
